I would like to say a special thank you at this time to the staff of The Lafford High School in particular, as they have acted with tremendous dignity following the recent announcements. It has been very difficult for you as many risk losing your livelihoods. You have not really had a voice because of your professionalism. We care, we will stand up for you, we will speak out for you and all you represent. Remember, no one can steal your dignity and peace of mind - unless you allow them to. You have done so much for so many young people. That is never wasted. Have a happy weekend!

On behalf of my colleagues, we thank you. So far, your voice is a lonely one in the wilderness of conscience. As teachers, we wish every success to our pupils whose life we share and whose future we shape. They are our guardians when we are frail. They are the reason we make progress and protect life.
Unfortunately greed, dispair and lust for power blind those who succumb to their glittering mirage. Those of us who are sincere burn away like candles, having shone and warmed the lives of those who care.
It is my pleasure. Nothing is ever wasted. Your work will not go unnoticed even though your voices are being drowned by those you mention.
We are asked to be as light and salt. Stay focused. The best battles are fought standing still, for dignity can then be preserved.
